Grassfield Band Parent Association (GFBPA)
Who are we: This association is organized as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. It consists of parents of students in all ensembles of the band program. All funds raised are used directly to support all ensembles of the band program, to include all class instruction, marching band, jazz band, indoor percussion and winter guard. We (the GFBPA) are funding 98% of the entire program!
There are no fees associated with being a member in our band parent association, we just need you to agree to our bylaws and sign that you will be a member. The success of our band program is due to the combined efforts of dedicated, wonderful and extremely talented directors/instructors and the very supportive parents and families that make up the GFBPA. THE GFBPA NEEDS YOU!
What we Need: Parent participation in our events, committee members and leads. We plan many events throughout the year and there is always a place for you to help out! All skills are welcomed, and put to use.
How you can Help: Tell us what you enjoy doing. Fill out a Volunteer form. Tell us how much time you can give. Sign up for events, and help us successfully support all of our hard working students.
WIFM (What’s in it for me): Rewarding experiences with your children and many other students. Great fun with other like-minded parents. Being part of an award-winning band program, working together to achieve goals and planning outstanding events.
