Grassfield
July 6 & 7
The Boston Crusaders, a DCI Drum Corps, will
be staying and rehearsing at Grassfield High School. Stop
by and get a taste of Marching Bands "major league."

GRassfield is a virginia Honors
Band
The title "Virginia Honors Band" is awarded to
band programs that earn a supeior rating for both their Marching
Band and Concert Band performances.
Grassfield earned its first "Virginia Honors Band" distinction
through Superior Performances of the Marching Grizzlies and
Symphonic Band.
Congratulations to all members for another 1st for Grassfield!

Marching Grizzlies will attend
Away Games
The Marching
Grizzlies will attend away games in the fall.
Some games will
be attended by the entire band and others will be attended by
smaller groups of the band or "pep band."
More information
about dates and pep band attendance will be discussed at the
parent meeting on Aug. 3.
